Defying the trends at a lot of UK airports, Birmingham International Airport has recorded its busiest November total of passengers. During the month the airport moved over 620,000 passengers. The 1.6% rise in traffic will only enhance the reputation of the airport as a viable alternative to the major hubs at Manchester and Heathrow. Most categories of traffic recorded an increase in traffic with flights to Ireland up over 3%. Most BAA airports rcorded fall in traffic of 5% or more.
