There are shuttle buses from the car parks to the terminals.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is located approximately 11 miles southwest of Amsterdam. Amsterdam is, of course, the capital of the Netherlands, and the Haarlemmermeer municipality is a polder, land reclaimed from the sea.
Transport Links to Amsterdam
Getting to Amsterdam from the airport is really quite easy. Taxis are readily available outside the terminals, and can be booked from Schiphol Transfer Assistance area of the airport. To go by train, the Schiphol train station is in the airport, and it is a short 15 minute journey to Amsterdam, and trains to other parts of Holland leave from there also. There are a large number of buses running to various areas of Amsterdam, but service number 370 takes passengers direct to the city centre. Finally, you can get to and from Schiphol by bicycle, on the specialist cycle paths.
