There are, in all, around five different car parks at the airport all of which are located onsite. The airport is quickly and easily accessible from all the car parks and the parking caters to long and short term fliers. The first half hour of parking is free making the parking ideal for quick passenger drop offs and pick ups too. After that first half hour, rates go up to 1.5 Euros per hour and then once again alter if you stay for a number of days as opposed to hours.

Innsbruck Kranebitten Airport is situated in Western Austria in the historic district of Tyrol, which borders German Bavaria. The airport lies within a mountainous region which thousands of visitors travel to every year, many of them for the fantastic and famous skiing facilities and resorts in the area. The capital of the region is Innsbruck which lies approximately two and a half miles east of Innsbruck Airport and is well known for its universities. There are a number of other smaller towns and villages in the surrounding area around the airport including Vols and Axams.
Transport Links to Innsbruck
There are various straightforward ways to reaching the airport. It is clearly signposted on all the roads in the surrounding area including the A12 which leads drivers closer to the terminal. It is also accessible via public transport and the bus route F takes passengers to and from the Innsbruck main train station. These buses, which operate from just outside the airport terminal building, run every 15 minutes and the journey takes under 20 minutes. Taxi ranks are also present just outside the airport terminal which travel to a number of destinations.
