Rome Airport
Rome’s Leonardo De Vinci ‘Fiumicino’ is a relatively new airport in Italy, opening in only 1961. Before then, Ciampino was Rome’s main airport. Nowadays, Rome Airport has grown to become operated by Aeorporti Di Roma, which has developed and grown it to an impressive degree. It now has three terminals and is located a convenient sixteen miles to the south west of Rome, offering both business travellers and tourists a quick transfer to the famous city.
Parking
Parking is easy to access and well-linked. There is a free shuttle bus which directly links the long stay carparks with each of the terminals - and there are also multi-storey carparks which link directly to each terminal by walkways.
The long stay car park is located just off the motorway, and there’s also covered carparking for long stay visitors. Additionally, short-stay parking is available at Terminals A B, on a limited basis only. It may be worth an advance call to airport information to ascertain the most appropriate option for you.
