Birmingham’s main airport is its International Airport located a short journey away from the centre of Birmingham, the main city which it services. Orlando International, Miami International and Orlando-Sanford are all very well situated with regards to other locations in Florida. They are all located close by to a number of destinations popular among both tourists and business people on work trips. Orlando Airport is just a few miles from Orlando which is easily reached from the airport. It is similarly easy to reach Orlando from Sanford although it is slightly further away from the city and from some tourist resorts such as Disney World. Miami International is roughly 8 miles from Miami and not far from other places such as Miami Springs, Virginia Gardens and Doral.

Transport Links to Florida
All of the airports are very easily accessed by road and public transport. All the airports have convenient bus routes leading into the closest cities and towns as well as to some resorts and hotels in the surrounding regions. The bus stations are located just outside the terminals and run frequently. Orlando Airport is located at the junction of State Road 435 and 528 making it easy to reach. Miami Airport is also along major roads and is clearly signposted as is Sanford. There are always plenty of taxis situated by the terminal entrance of these airports and train services can be caught at Miami Airport.

There are several conference and business facilities at the Florida Airports. Miami International has numerous executive and business lounges where certain customers can enter and appreciate the relaxing atmosphere. At Sanford there is a Royal Palm Lounge and these lounges allow customers a range of services including internet access. There are also meeting rooms and conference facilities available either within the terminals at the airports or nearby in business centres or hotels. The Orlando International Hotel and Conference Centre, for example, lies just outside the airport and offers a range of rooms for hire.
